REJUVA Aesthetics offer a variety of medically managed chemical peels with a results oriented skin care program. A very popular and mild medical peel is the Glycolic peel. This peel is composed of Alphahydroxy acids that produce a light peel perfect for reducing fine lines, wrinkles, treating dry areas and aiding in the control of acne. Most of all, it improves sun damaged skin and smoothing rough, dry skin. The Glycolic peel uses a chemical solution to smooth and improve the quality of your skin by eliciting the top layers of skin to separate and gradually peel off. This will leave a natural glow and noticeably healthier looking skin.

This oil soluble beta hydroxy acid is great for treating acne, sun damage, and skin discoloration. It is also great for fine lines and wrinkles. The salicylic peel is great for killing bacteria that causes acne as well as balancing out oil production. It is important to remember that chemical peels are a gradual process and are most commonly done in a series of treatments. Again, like any peel, the best results are obtained in combination with Microdermabrasion or Dermaplaning.

The Jessner peel is a light to medium chemical peel that can repair more extensive skin damage than is available with a hydroxy acid peel. This is possible because Jessners Peel is a mix of salicylic acid and resorcinol, lactic acid. This peel works best for lightening skin affected by hyperpigmentation and sun damaged skin. You can expect your skin to peel and flake for approximately one week with the skin turning a pink or brown color temporarily. Jessners can also works well with wrinkles, acne and scares.
